Ajao Adejumo, PDP Rep ‘jumps ship’ to APC

Hon. Ajao Adejumo, a lawmaker representing  Ogbomoso North/Ogbomosho South/Oriire Federal Constituency  in the House of Representatives, has ditched his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, announced Hon. Adejumo’s defection on the floor of the Green Chamber, on Tuesday, upon resumption of plenary session.

Recall that the House of Representatives had suspended sitting three weeks ago to allow its various committees to carry out legislative work on the 2022 budget.

While speaking, the defector said he joined the APC to move the country forward.

Said he, “Your (the Speaker’s) charismatic and all-inclusive, transparent and objective leadership of this house won my admiration for you and the progressives’ party in moving the nation forward,” his defection letter reads.
