Fear and confusion, on Thursday, reigned at Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, when power outage triggered a fire outbreak at the E-Arrival area of the old terminal.

Occupants at the facility, including workers and passengers were promptly ushered out of the affected section, which had been engulfed by thick smoke as well as the larger departure hall.
However, as normal operations continued at the terminal, a team of fire fighting personnel and their equipment were deployed to put out the fire.
