Shootout as Osun APC factions clash, two injured 

Two persons were on Saturday feared injured in a shootout at the venue of the state congress organised by a faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osogbo, Osun State, to elect new state executives. 

The faction is reportedly backed by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.
It was gathered that a car, conveying about five armed occupants was driving towards the entrance to the venue of the Congress by another group at Ladsol Bus Stop, Ogo Oluwa, Osogbo, but was stopped from advancing to the entrance to the venue.
This resulted in an exchange of gunshots between the two groups, which led to injuries to two.
