Labour pulls out of Minimum Wage negotiations with FG

The Organised Labour has pulled out of the ongoing minimum wage negotiations with the Federal Government.

The development came after the Federal Government and the Organised Private Sector (OPS) made an offer of N48,000 and N54,000 wage, respectively.

The organised labour rejected the offer describing it as ‘ridiculous’.

It was learnt that while the Federal Government at the meeting did not provide any data to back up its proposal.

The spokesman of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Benson Upah confirmed Labour’s exit from the negotiations.
