COVID-19: FG to create 1,000-bed space isolation centers in Abuja

The Federal Ministry of Health has announced its intention to create an about one thousand bed space isolation and treatment centers in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja in a bid to combat the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic.

Minister of State for Health, Sen. Olorunnimbe Mamora, disclosed this during a press conference, on Tuesday.

The proposed centers according to him will be located, in Agura Hotel, DSS Guest House, the Women Development Center and the This Day Dome.

He added that these locations would serve as isolation and treatment centers in preparation for possible surge in the numbers of COVID-19 cases.
