BREAKING: Tinubu intervenes in Fubara, Wike rift

Bala Mohammed, Governor of Bauchi State, has said President Bola Tinubu has waded into the feud between the minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike and Governor, his succession as Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara.

President Tinubu took advantage of the Police Council meeting, which both Wike and Fubara, to intervene in the crisis.

Mohammed briefed State House correspondents on the outcome of the meeting presided over by the President at the council chambers in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Wike and Fubara had also exchanged pleasantries when they met inside when they met before the meeting commenced.

The Bauchi governor, Muhammed, who is the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDP-GF) also disclosed the opposition governors’ resolve to work with the president because he has shown good faith by not interfering with gubernatorial cases brought before the courts by PDP members.
