Mr Yakubu Oseni of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared winner of the Kogi Central Senatorial election held on Feb. 23.

The Returning Officer, Prof. Patrick Audu, who announced the results on Monday at Okene, said Oseni polled 76, 120 to defeat other contestants.
He said that Miss Natasha Akpoti of the Social Democratic Party scored 48,326 to come second in the election while the incumbent Sen. Ahmed Ogembe of PDP polled 19, 359 to come third. (NAN)
