Sen. Kabiru Marafa, who represents Zamfara State Central senatorial district at the 8th National Assembly has been suspended from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) by his Ward following the vote of no confidence on him.
Another source from Tsafe Local Government Area the country home of the former senator said, “The former senator was suspended indefinitely from the state ruling party the APC, following his refusal to abide by the party existing constitution by continuously trying by all means to destroy the party structures in the state.”
Right now, following that, thousands of young men and women are on the streets of Gusau, the state capital.
The protesters chanted different songs of joy following the suspension of the former legislature.
Last week some concerned Zamfara citizens wrote a 4-pages petition to the APC National Working Committee (NWC) to sanction the former senator due to his bad attitudes and behaviors which could lead to the party division in the state.
