Solanke re-joins Renaissance Capital as Director, Frontier SSA Analyst

Renaissance Capital, a leading investment bank in emerging and frontier markets, announces that Adesoji Solanke has re-joined the firm as Director, Frontier / Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) banks research analyst, based in London. He will be covering Frontier / SSA bank and select Fintech stocks, reporting to Yvonne Mhango, Head of Research, SSA.

Solanke has over ten years of experience in financial markets. His most recent roles have been in private equity and venture capital, working in fintech and renewable energy. Before this, he spent six years at Renaissance Capital, where he was the lead SSA banks analyst and head of Nigeria research. He was the no.1 rated equity analyst in Africa (ex-SA) by Financial Mail in 2015 and 2016. Soji recently completed an MBA at London Business School (LBS) as a Mo Ibrahim scholar – an award given to an exceptional and high-potential African candidate.

At LBS, he excelled at stock picking, winning the fall 2016 stock pitch competition and the “Silver-Bull” award in July 2019 for Value Investing. He also served as a President of the prestigious LBS Africa Club and as an analyst on the Student Investment Fund.
