Security is business of all – NCRIB

The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) has assured of its readiness to assist the Federal Government in tackling the various security challenges confronting the country.

To this end, the NCRIB has said that it would come up with a pragmatic approach towards helping government in its search for solutions to these challenges.

This assurance was given by Chairman, Northern Area Committee of NCRIB, Alhaji M. A. Abdulrauf, at the 2nd Edition of the Northern Insurance Brokers Summit held at Asaa Pyramid, Kaduna State.

According to him, the country is currently faced with a lot of security challenges and therefore government needs contributions as to finding solutions from professionals from relevant fields to come up with very a robust ideas on how to tackle the menace.

“It is my belief that at the end of the summit, professionals and highly competent speakers from the relevant fields will have enlightened us on how to tackle this problem that is seriously affecting the fabric of our country and its economy, because without security there’ll be no investment.”

Abdulrauf also intimated members that some of the points that were contained in the 18 point communiqué that was issued at the end of the maiden edition of the summit in 2017 have been fully implemented while others are at various stages of implementation.

He also used the occasion to express his appreciation on the President and Chairman of the Governing Board of the council, Mr. Shola Tinubu, for his sterling leadership quality and for giving a new direction to the activities of the council both nationally and internationally.
