Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reportedly won the presidential election in Jigawa State.
Tinubu, who won with a margin of 34,803, edged out the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP).
The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner REC), in the state, Prof. Muhammad Bashar, declared the APC candidate as winner with 421,390 votes at the state collation centre, on Monday.

Prof. Bashar said Tinubu defeated Atiku Abubakar, who scored 386,587 votes.
The candidate of the NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, got 98,234 votes while Peter Obi of Labour Party got 1, 889.
