Mob burns two suspected robbers in Anambra

An angry mob on Sunday  set two robbers ablaze at Mmiliezigbo in Oraukwu, Idemmili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The incident, which was confirmed by the spokesman of Anambra Police Command, Ikenga Tochukwu, followed a gun duel between the robbers and members of the community’s vigilance group.

It was gathered that the robbers had allegedly snatched a Toyota Camry from their victim in the community but were pursued by the local vigilante, following  them a distress call.

A fierce gun battle ensued between the  suspects and members of the vigilante.

However, the suspects were subdued, prompting an angry mob in the vicinity to troop out and set them ablaze.
