JUST IN: Lagos council chair, Augustine Arogundade is dead

The death has been announced of the chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Mr. Augustine Adeoye Arogundade.

A release issued, on Tuesday, by Hon. Mrs. Omolola Essien on behalf of Conference 57, the group of all council chairman in the state says, “The Lagos State Conference of Local Government and Local Council development Area Chairmen, Conference 57 regret to announce the demise of one of their colleague, Mr Augustine Adeoye Arogundade, the Executive chairman Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA (Alimosho LG).

“The sad incident occurs some minutes ago.
“We pray The Good Lord forgive his shortcomings and grant him safe passage to paradise while we continue to pray for the family at this trying time.”
