Imo petroleum marketers chair extols unity in association

Chairman of the Association of Imo Petroleum Marketers and Dealers, Dr. Chiebere Michael Okoroafor, has described the unification of interest groups within the association as a significant milestone in the association.

He said this, in Owerri, the Imo State capital, during their end-of-year General Assembly, adding that the association currently is enjoying her indivisible harmonised association that would continually project its image.

Okoroafor expressed joy that the association within the year ending has sustained its commitment towards provision of service to her numerous customers within a regulatory ambience and best practices.

He said that such sustenance of her commitment ensured the availability of Petroleum products which include but not limited to premium motor spirit (PMS or Petrol), diesel (AGO), Kerosene (DPK), and distribution of the products at regulated prices during the period under review regardless of challenges of business environment.

The chairman while thanking every one for attending the event, said that the has has been eventful globally and particularly in Nigeria with the plague of Covid-19 pandemic which according to him have largely reshaped the protocol of of human existence including the country’s economy.

He expressed great thanks to God for sparring the lives of members and offered them the privilege to gather as a team with the single purpose to move the association forward.

The chairman who thanked the members for their commitment and their support to the association, appealed to them to continue to do better in the coming years.

He paid special tribute to the Governor Hope Uzodimma, the Anglican Bishop of Egbu Diocese, the Brigade Commander 34 Artilery Obinze, Department of Security Service, DPR, the General Manager Owerri Capital Development Authority OCDA, among others.
