Hoodlums attack Delta school, kill one student, torch Principal’s car

A secondary school in Delta State, Ogume Grammar School in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Ogume community was, on Wednesday, attacked by hoodlums, who set a classroom block and the school’s Principal’s car ablaze.

Also, a female student of the school was feared killed in the heinous attack.

Though details of the attack are not yet clear, the Delta State Government has reportedly condoled with the family of the deceased.

Commissioner for Secondary Education in the state, Hon. (Mrs.) Rose Ezewu, said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa condemned the dastardly act, adding that the community would repair the damaged properties.
