Reports say that there was a fresh attack on Kurmin Masara in Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Monday night.
The attack, what reportedly began late night on Monday, lasted for a hours as the gunmen kept on shooting sporadically till 1.00am, on Tuesday morning.

The attack came under 24 hours after some gunmen raged Kurmin Masara community, killed 11 people and burnt more than 30 houses and properties.
Youth leader of Atyap Chiefdom, Gabriel Joseph, confirmed the attack, on Tuesday.
He said after residents of Kurmin Masara abandoned their community during the Sunday attack, the gunmen chose to attack Atisa, a close by settlement of a similar Kurmin Masara pivot.
He said the gunmen shot freely as there were no security personnel to counter them, similarly as the vigilance groups in the area ran for their dear lives.

Joseph, who could not confirm if anybody was killed during the attack, said foodstuff and animals were trucked away by gunmen
The Youth Leader urged the state government to make a genuine move to defend and secure residents and their properties.
Kaduna Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, did not pick his calls nor react to instant messages sent to him.
