Gambari’s depth of national, international politics, a huge boost to Buhari govt, says Ondo gov.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of of Ondo State has commended the appointment of Prof. Ibrahim Gambari as the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a congratulatory message signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye, Governor Akeredolu described Gambari’s appointment as a ‘round peg in a round hole’, in view of his experience in both national and global politics.
Governor Akeredolu emphasised that the Prof. Gambari’s long public career and as a university teacher would come in handy in his new role.
The Governor added that, “with the experience garnered over the years as an astute diplomat and a gentleman, Ambassador Gambari is bringing his wealth of experience to enhance the good works of the president and his cabinet.”
While wishing Prof. Gambari success in his new role, Governor Akeredolu said he was confident that the new Chief of Staff would not disappoint the nation.
Governor Akeredolu also lauded the President for his choice, adding that the appointment of Prof. Gambari has once again portrayed President Buhari as a leader who has good intention for the nation.
