EFCC arrests 8 Internet fraudsters in Lagos

Eight suspected fraudsters were, on Tuesday, arrested in Lagos State, by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for their involvement in internet crimes.

The suspects identified as Adesanmi Abiodun, Olasupo Emmanuel, Segun Amudah, Aina Oladipo, Babatunde Olawuyi, Oluwaseyi Emmanuel Fagbemiro, Felix Onyebuchi and Abdulazeez Ismaila, were arrested at Fortright estate, Magboro area of the state.

According to the Lagos zonal office of the EFCC, the arrest of the suspects followed intelligence report received by the commission.

Items recovered from the suspects included exotic cars, phones and laptops.

The EFCC said the suspects would soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
