Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has given hoodlums operating in the state a 10-day reprieve within which they must drop their arms or be seriously dealt with.
He also urged them to immediately vacate their hideouts in the forests in Imo State and surrender themselves alongside their weapons to the monarchs of their respective communities in exchange for unfettered pardon.

Governor Uzodimma made this known at the Government House Chapel, in Owerri, while addressing the congregation, adding that the 10-day amnesty grace was with immediate effect.
The governor said anyone that failed to comply with the directives would face dire consequences.
