COVID-19: First batch of Nigerians from UK arrive Lagos

Another set of Nigerian returnees have arrived in Lagos.

The returnees arrived at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos State, on Friday, from the United Kingdom.

Chairperson of the Nigerian in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Arewa, disclosed this on her Twitter page.

Recalled that abvout 256 Nigerians had arrived Nigeria from Dubai, on Wednesday.

According to Dabiri-Erewsa, the returnees were to depart to Abuja and be on compulsory isolation for fourteen days to determine their Coronavirus status.

Her tweet read: “The first evacuation from the UK has landed Lagos.

“The passengers will be proceeding to Abuja where they will be on 14day compulsory isolation.”
