With final results already turned in from 13 local government areas, PDP’s incumbent governor, Godwin Obaseki, seems set to be reelected governor of Edo State.
So far, PDP has won in all the declared local governments, except in Owan East, where it recorded just 14,762 to APC’s 19,295 votes.
PDP currently has a healthy lead with victories in Oredo, Igueben, Esan North East, Esan West, Esan Central, Ikpoba OHKA, Owan West, Esan South East, Eghor, Esan West and Uhunmwode.
