Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, gave hope to two out-of-school girls he met on his way to an official duty.
According to a Facebook Post by Sanwo-Olu’s Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, the governor was heartbroken to see the girls on the road during school hours, with buckets on their heads. He, thereby, ordered his convoy to stop and inquired from the girls why they were not in school.

The girls, it was gathered, told the governor that their parents could not afford their tuition fees.
The governor promptly found who their parents were and promised to take over the full responsibility of the girls’ upbringing and education.
