Police Force volleyball team will work hard to win 2019 league, coach assures

Taiwo Oladipupo, the coach of Nigeria Police Force (NPF) volleyball club, on Wednesday said his team would work hard to win the upcoming 2019 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League.

Oladipupo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that they would strive to improve upon their 2018 performance where they emerged third.

“We have a complete team, because our players are officers of the Nigeria Police. But we will need to recruit more players to strengthen the team for the league.

So, we will work hard to win the 2019 league. We want to lift the trophy, and that is our target. We all share the same dream as a team,’’ he said.

Oladipupo also told NAN that the Inspector-General of Police and the Chairman of Nigeria Police Volleyball Club would support the team to actualise its dream of winning the 2019 league.

“They always encourage us whenever we participate in any competition.

They support the team with the necessary things it needs morally and financially, which always boost and strengthen the team for a good performance by the end of the competition,” he said. (NAN)
