A popular Lagos cleric, Pastor Ezuma Chizemdere, is in police custody for allegedly penetrating 15 boys through the anus and infecting them with HIV virus.
Investigations revealed that the suspect, who is the Founder of Jesus Intervention Household Ministry had, on separate occasions lured the teenage boys to his house in Ejigbo. There he molested them and paid them N2,000 each.
The bubble burst when the cleric’s neighbour who had observed the trend accosted one of the boys (name withheld) and quarried his relationship with the cleric.
The boy confided in the said neighbour, revealing how the suspect had engaged him and other boys in anal sex. The said neighbour swiftly reported to the Ejigbo Police Division in December.
Upon the allegation, the cleric who was invited by the police absconded for months. He was however arrested on March 21, 2019.
Confirming the arrest of the suspect, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Elkana Bala said Chizemdere had been HIV positive for three years and had infected both young boys and ladies.

Bala said, “ Investigation carried out revealed that Chizemdere was part of the syndicate defiling teenagers in the community. He has been at large for about three months but was arrested on March 21, 2019, at about 1 am.
“Police laid siege of the cleric’s residence based on the strength of information gathered that he often sneaks into the house through the back entrance. Haven discovered that Police have cordoned his house, he hid himself in the ceiling for two hours. He was however arrested.
“ We also learnt that he had brought in about 15 boys into his apartment where he forcefully penetrated them all through the anus. Some members of the neighborhood revealed that he usually wash six bedsheets daily whenever he brings in little children, suspected to be his sex partners.
“The suspect further confessed that he pays the boys N2000 each, anytime he has carnal knowledge of them. “
In a related development, the Command’s Gender Unit have arrested a Teacher with Fazir I Omar Senior High School, Iwaya, Yaba for have oral sex with an SS2 female student for mark.
Bala had also said that the 29-year-old teacher, Ajayi Akintunde, had been on for two years.
The PPRO said both suspects will be charged to court soon.
