Nigerians are asking if Abba Kyari, a top police officer in the Nigeria, is an errand boy to the detained alleged internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi.
This comes as Kyari, in a statement, said he only helped Hushpuppi purchase five sets of native clothing.
Kyari’s statement has irked Nigerians who asked when officers of the police in Nigeria have become errand boys and girls to money bags in the country.
“I never see Hushpuppi with “native cloths” before o. Na which native cloth Hushpuppi come see for ABBA Kyari body wey him like?
Abi na Gucci Kaftan? Abi Louis vuitton babariga?,” one FS Yusuf asked.
“Abba Kyari said he only sold Nigerian native wears and cap to Hushpuppi. I never knew he was a fashion stylist and owambe cloth distributor,” Wale Adetona said.
“Basically, Abba Kyari was Hushpuppi’s errand boy. He would arrest a rival upon Hushpuppi’s request, throw the person in jail, take pictures and send them to Hush alongside his bank account number.

Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai by the FBI in a raid in which millions of dollars of cash were recovered. He was later extradited to the US to face charges.
He said he paid Kyari over $1million to detain an associate. Kyari has denied the allegation.
