Kogi: INEC officials stranded, struggle for transportation

Some officials of the
Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, posted for the conduct of the November 11 governorship elections in Kogi State have been left stranded without means of getting to their duty centres.
The officials had reportedly arrived at Ajayi Crowther Memorial School in Lokoja, capital of Kogi State, to collect electoral materials but have no means of transportation to facilitate their movement to various polling units in the state.
Only three mini buses were seen to transport over 200 electoral officials.

One of the officials was allegedly overheard telling others that the only way they could get to their locations was if the voters at the polling units arranged for their transportation.
