Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has declared a state of emergency on traffic management matters, the environment and sanitation within the state.
This, he said, would start process of his stability and accountability on which all the citizens become active stakeholders in bringing about the necessary changes.

He said there would be zero tolerance for recklessness across Lagos environment and that there would be enforcement of law and order in respect of traffic and sanitation matters in the state during his tenure.
This, he assured, while signing the document declaring the state of emergency at the Lagos State House, Alausa, Ikeja.
