The House of Representatives, on Tuesday, in plenary, received members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
The PTF team were in the Green Chamber to brief the federal lawmakers on the efforts by the Federal Government in the fight against the dreaded Coronavirus.

Those who appeared before the lawmakers included Chairman of the PTF and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha; Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire; Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; National Coordinator of PTF, Dr. Sani Aliyu; and Director-General, Nigeria Centre of Disease Control (NCDC), Dr. Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, among others.
Speaker of the Hoiuse of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, said the invitation to the PTF was based on a motion adopted by the House last week on the deaths in Kano State linked to COVID-19.
