It was a bitter Eid-el-Maulud for some residents of Lagos State as a petroleum tanker, loaded with 33,000 litres Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) burst into flames, on Monday morning.
The sad event occurred at the entrance of Gowon Estate, Ipaja Road, Alimosho area f the state.

The incident reportedly occurred at about 6.30a.m. It was, however, reported that men of the Lagos State Fire Service and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) responded early to the distress call to put out the fire.
At press time, there was no casualty recorded.
