A generator repairer was shot dead in Chiba, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of River State on Thursday night.
It was reported that the deceased head and genitals, were severed from his body, by unknown gunmen.
An eye witness, who do not want to be mentioned, reported that the deceased, popularly known as mechanic, is well known in the neighborhood, where he had repaired generator for years.
He said the victim was beheaded in front of his girlfriend, in his house.
The girlfriend, it was learnt, was also attacked.
Confirming the report, the Police image maker in the State, Mr Nnamdi Omoni, said that the gunmen, also shot a man, standing beside his Toyota Sienna car dead. He added that the deceased girlfriend, is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
