A bandits’ kingpin, popularly known as Alhaji Shadari and some of his gang members in one of Zamfara forests were neutralised during a gun duel at Sunke forest with operatives of the Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD).
It was gathered that Alhaji Shadari and other bandits were killed by the troops, who took the war to the bandits’ camp in the forest under Duhuwa village of Bagega District in Anka Local Government Area of the state.

“The troops who dominated the enclave recovered several dangerous weapons, including AK-47 rifles, Rocket launcher, ammunition of various calibers, Anti-Aircraft, military uniform, smartphones, charms and operational motorcycles,” the source disclosed.
