COVID-19: Forum rejoices with NIS boss, Babandede over recovery

The Journalists International for Migration (JIFORM) has rejoiced with the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede over his quick recovery from the dreaded Coronavirus.

President of the Forum, Abayomi Ajibola, in a statement, stated that the news of Babandede testing negative twice after self isolation was heart-warming.

According to him, the cheering result of the test came with great relief, thanking God that the Comptroller General would be able to return to work on time to continue the good job he has been doing for the county before his brief absence.

Ajibola also expressed excitement over the appreciation messaged Babandede forwarded to all well-wishers, friends of the service, good spirited individuals and groups, Officers and Men of the Nigeria Immigration Service and most importantly the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The message, Ajibola disclosed, was also extended to the Honorable Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Interior Barr Georgina’s Ekeoma Ehuriah, Members of the International Community who stood by the Service during his trying times.

Babandede in an overwhelming appreciation took cognizance of the prayers and supplication of everyone for him as he also prayed  for the recovery of others, while praying for God’s intervention for the World and Nigeria in this battle against Covid-19.

He further enjoined Nigerians to keep faith alive and adhere strictly to Medical and health care advice, including social and physical distancing, as well  as safe healthy practices of washing of hands with soap, using of sanitizers, wearing of Face mask, and every professional advice given by the NCDC for the good and well-being of all.
