The Academic Excellence Initiative (AEI), Ojo zone, is set to hold its annual Mathematics competition for senior secondary schools in Education District V, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State.
The competition, tagged ‘AEI Senior Secondary Mathematics Competition’ will hold on Wednesday, 5 February, 2020
at Imoye Senior Secondary school Mile 2, Lagos.
The competition is meant for only public Senior Secondary School 2 (SS2) students.

Participatory schools cut across all 20 secondary schools in Amuwo Odofin zone of Eduxation District V.
According to the Project Officer of the Ojo zone of AEI, Mr Jamiu Salau, the objective of the competition is to expose students to the rudiments of Mathematics questions and give them strategies to adopt to pass their Senior Secondary School Certificate examination with ease.
“The objective of this competition is to expose the students to critical topics in mathematics and strategies of passing this subject with distinction at WAEC Level. Also to expose them to what examiners seek in their answers when marking,” he said.
