Shameful! Kwara man dragged to court by daughter over alleged sexual assault
A shameful scene is playing out in the house of one man, simply identified as Mashood, in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The suspect’s own daughter, Simbiat Moshood has dragged him to the Upper Àrea Court in the town, and accused him of sexual misconduct and threatening to jail or kill her if she exposed his abomination to anyone.
“The act has become my father’s habit, I am his only daughter and that is why my mother has refused to return home after they divorced,”Simbiat claimed.
“My father’s second wife had once caught us in the act and do make jest of me and alleging ritualistic activity.”
Toyin Onaolapo, counsel to the accused, pleaded the court to grant his client bail, which Magistrate Abdul Yekeen granted the accused and subsequently adjourned the case to April 15, 2024.
