The winners were Sabbado Feludu, Reginald Nwogu and Omore Seun who were first, second and third positions respectively. They were reward with music production deals.

According to the convener, Henry said he was delighted to be identified with musical talents and wishes to take the event to a bigger stage adding that the preparation started when he saw one of the contestants singing on the roadside.

“We could not take it again, we could not allow talents to waste, so we came up with Gospel Talash. 132 contestants registered for the show.

“The registration required the contestants to upload a one-minute video of them singing their favourite song on one of the provided social media platforms. “Contestants were drilled through series of auditioning stages. Ranging from online selection, stage and live-stage performances until 11 contestants made it to the finals in which the three best were selected as follows,” he stated.

Bishop of the church, Humphrey Erumeka, said it was a community development event for the church as it continues to develop and encourage the youths.

The grand finale was graced by Segun Arinze, Righteousman and others who featured as guest judges.
