One of the spokespersons for Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, Kenneth Nwankwo, has placed a curse that it shall never be well with the enemies of Nigeria.
He made the declaration in a post via his Twitter handle, on Sunday.
Mr. Okonkwo, a veteran Nollywood actor, was reacting to a video of an unnamed voter (lady) in Lagos who was prevented from voting by political thugs stationed at the polling unit.
He said that those who deceitfully made promises to Nigerians that there would be free and credible elections would never see any good thing.
He wrote, “It shall never be well with all enemies of Nigeria no matter how highly placed they are. Whoever made any promise to Nigerians in deceit will never see any good thing forever. In God we trust.”
“Elections should be about capacity, competence, and experience, not ethnicity or religion,” the governor tweeted.
“I salute those who refused to be divided by hateful and hurtful ethnic profiling. Recent skirmishes in some local government areas resulting in injuries are reprehensible and not reflective of who we are.
“Law enforcement and security agencies have been directed to ensure that those found culpable face the full wrath of the law”.
