The results of the May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will be released by end of the month.

This was announced by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) via its Twitter handle while answering questions on the date of the release of the examination result.

Responding to an enquiry monitored by The Nigerian Xpress the examination body tweeted ‘It will be released on or before the end of this month (July). The exact date will be made public soon.’

It will be recalled that the examination which took place between April and June this year was conducted exclusively for senior secondary school candidates.

The Nigerian Xpress reliably gathered that marking was concluded early last week and results are being collated from different centres.

The expected release of the results will be in conformity with the pledge of WAEC to do so within 45 days of conclusion of examination.
