Vote count commences at Nnewi, Anambra

Sorting and counting of votes have commenced at Uzukpe Village Square Otolo Nnewi Ward two in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State after voting ended by 2pm.

Mr Innocent Ikeh, INEC supervisor told journalists in Nnewi on Saturday that people were no longer coming as at 2pm which made them close voting and commenced sorting.

NAN reports that counting commenced at exactly 2.23 pm at Uzukpe Village Square, Otolo.

Party agents were seen monitoring sorting and counting of the votes by collation officers. (NAN)
