The Coach of Delta female Volleyball club, Tina Azomani, on Friday said her team would work hard to replicate their performance at the National Sports Festival in the 2019 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League.
Azomani told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that they finished fifth in the 2018 league, adding that they would work hard to lift the trophy in this year’s league.
NAN reports that Delta won the female volleyball competition of the 2018 National Sports Festival.
“We have 11 players now; we will need to recruit more players that will strengthen the team for the league, we started training this month.

“We will work hard to win the 2019 league, we want to lift up the trophy and that is our target, we all share the same dream as a team.
“We are determined to fight well in this year’s league and record our victory at the end of the competition,’’ she said.
The coach said they would also participate in the Mini National Sports Festival in August in Edo.
“We are preparing for both the league and the mini national sports festival in Edo State.
“We will work hard to excel in the two events, this year is our year of celebration and with the help of God we will rejoice at the end of the two tournaments,’’ the coach said. (NAN)
