The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has dismissed the suit seeking to stop Buhari’s inauguration.
The suit was filed by the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) in conjunction with its Presidential Candidate, Mr. Ambrose Aworu.

Delivering judgement on the suit, Justice Joseph Ikyechi, dismissed the application for lacking in merit.
The Petitioners had approached the Tribunal to challenge the authenticity of President Buhari’s election, stating that it violated the electoral laws.
