Tobi Amusan wins gold again, breaks Commonwealth Games record

Tobi Amusan on Sunday broke the Commonwealth Games record to win gold in the Women’s 100m hurdles final at Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The Nigerian star athlete successfully defended the title she won in Tokyo, Japan, breasting the tape in 12.30 seconds.

She beat Devynne Charlton of Bahamas to the second position with 12.58 seconds and England’s Cindy Sember came third.

Amusan was the first Nigerian ever to win gold at the World Athletics Championships after racing to a world record time of 12.06 sconds just last month.
