Managing Director of Tito Group of Companies, Mr. Isaac Akinkunmi has been released by his abductors.
Mr. Akinkunmi was kidnapped from his residence at Kanshio in Makurdi by four armed men last weekend.
Until he was released, there was no indication as to how much ransom was paid to the abductors.
Speaking during a visit to the family, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State commended security agencies for securing Akinkunmi’s release.

He urged security agents to continue to intensify effort towards riding the state of criminals, promising that he would always provide enabling environment for them to discharge their duties.
Governor Ortom thanked God for the release of the enterpreneur in good health condition, stressing that Benue can only develop in a peaceful atmosphere.
Responding, Akinkunmi thanked the governor for his concern and called on government at all levels to continue to give priority to security matters.
