Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, visited Ogun State where he gave the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun a pat on the back for a good job he is doing in the state.
Tinubu, who was in the ancient City of Abokuta to pay a visit to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo seized the opportunity to visit Moshood Abiola Stadium where the artisans were celebrating their Day for the 2022 session.
Tinubu at the stadium expressed the delight over the performance of the Dapo Abiodun administration in the State, admitting that the infrastructure developments of in Ogun state, is heart-warming.
The artisans who were celebrating their annual day 2022 themed: “The role of Artisans in tackling the menace of youth and women unemployment”, were elated to see Tinubu in their midst.
The APC National Leader, who noted the various infrastructural drive of governor Abiodun thanked the artisans and the good people of Ogun State for giving the governor the needed support to achieve so much.
“Campaign has not started, we are not here for campaign, so I don’t have much to say.
“I’m just here to say hello to you. We are glad with what the governor is doing and we are glad with all the support he is given by you,” Asiwaju Tinubu asserted.
Governor Dapo Abiodun in his remarks appreciated the artisans for their cooperation with his administration, describing them as the main drivers of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the state.

He also thanked them for their support and their being employers of labour that have contributed immensely to the growth of the state economy.
The Governor also lauded them for their huge contribution to the successful affordable homes project of his administration across the state, urging them not to relent in their support for his administration.
Governor Abiodun did not forget to also thank the APC National Leader for the August visit.
Tinubu was accompanied to Abeokuta by a former Interim National Chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila; former Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; former governors of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba and Otunba Gbenga Daniel, among others.
