Supreme court judgement- Bishop faults declaration of Hope Uzodinma as Imo Gov.

From Johnkennedy Uzoma, Owerri
Bishop Chidi Collins Oparaojiaku of the Anglican Diocese of Ohaji/Egbema, Imo State has expressed doubt over circumstances that has suddenly brought about Sen.Hope Uzodinma as the winner of the governorship election Imo State
This is coming few days after the Bishops of the Anglican churches in the South East had urged the Supreme Court to reverse their judgment against Hon Emeka Ihedioha as governor of Imo State

The prelate during the re dedication church service of the diocese, held at St.John’s Church Umuchineke, (Umuagwo) Ohaji, Imo State declared that it is still a surprise to him that Supreme Court could admit that Sen. Uzodinma won in the 388 polling units through which he was declared winner of the election when in actually fact there was nothing like APC during the election in Imo State.

He said:”am not a lawyer and I don’t have credible knowledge about position of law but I did not believe is that Hope Uzodinma scored such number of votes in the 388 polling units”
He said that during the last election in the state, there was nothing like APC because it was turned apart and displaced by AA.
He said:”APC was no where during the election and I did not know how Hope Uzodinma turned around to wine those units because APC was dead in the state”.
He accused the former Governor of Imo State, Sen. Rochas Okorocha for taking APC away for the purposes of joining AA which later on destroyed APC as a party
He said: “Under moral consciousness APC was down and not a party to reckon with”.
The Bishop further questioned where lies the magic that suddenly turned around against the actual winner of the election Hon Emeka Ihedioha
In his sermon earlier, on the theme ‘Praise and Worship’, the bishop admonished the Christians to approach every issues that comes their way in this new year with praise as and worship
Drawing his inference from the Bible reading from Psalm Chapter 150, Bishop Oparaojiaku reminded the worshipers that God deserved some praise from each person in appreciation of the life He has given to them
He regretted that some Christians in this present days fail to thank God for what He has done in their lives and families
Bishio Oparaojiaku identified ways by which a Christian should worship God which include not picking anger, worshiping in truth and in spirit, worshiping in the right behaviour, and humility.
Other ways according to him include by confessing their sins, fulfilling vows, as well as worship that involves treasures, helping the poor and the needy and above all trusting in God all the time
