An incident happened recently where I live. There used to be a couple living around us in one block of about four flats. They have been living there for about five years and they come across to everyone as very godly, peaceful and respectable couples. They have been blessed with two children and the wife was currently pregnant with the third child.
About two weeks ago, an unusual bubble burst in their home and this has been the talk of the entire neighbourhood. According to one of the neighbours, who lives in the same building with them, the man in question was caught sleeping with their housemaid one night and the wife, who could not believe her eyes simply passed out. It was one of the women, who just came in that day that heard a loud scream from her sister that actually told people about the incident while she was calling for help.
According to the story, she told neighbours, who came to rescue the woman that her brother in-law was caught pants down, having sex with their housemaid right in the maid’s room. They obviously thought everyone had slept; so, they went for their usual romp. The poor woman said she had gone looking for her husband in the middle of the night and when she heard a moaning sound from her maid’s room, she thought she had smuggled a man into the house. She was too shocked to discover that it was her husband that was actually making the girl moan.

The man in question works in a telecommunication company and physically look good enough to woo any woman of his choice without any stress. Just why would he descend so low to be sleeping with his maid right under the nose of his beloved wife? One of the people around was of the opinion that he must have been denied sex for a while because his wife was pregnant. Another woman whom you may say spoke from the angle of a woman was quick to condemn his action.
“Why would he become so pressed, as to go and be sleeping with their housegirl? In short, he is a very wicked man. He cannot tell me that it was his first time. Otherwise, why did the girl not resist him? Was it the first time his wife will be pregnant? Is the woman not carrying his baby? He is simply a flirt, and shameless too. If it is a woman that is caught in that kind of web, she would be sent packing, no one will make any excuse for her. But for women, it is not so. Before you know it, they will be pleading that she come back to the house, forgive her husband and see the incident as the devil’s work,” said the woman.
Well, the situation is still not settled, as the woman and her two children have been moved to her elder sister’s house, at least, for the meantime. The housemaid, of course, has been sent away instantly and the man has also not been coming home.
Whether we want to believe this or not, men are always attracted to women and like many have rightfully observed, once their third leg comes calling, other senses they have relapse. And while the need to employ housemaids will always arise at one time or another in the life of any married couple, it is important that women take real precaution.

If she is always into makeover
Whenever you see your housegirl undergoes a drastic makeover, there are chances she is having an affair with your husband. The changes can be attributed to the desire to make herself more attractive to him. She will improve her personal hygiene and grooming habits to please your man. So, whenever you see this signal, beware; take a position on this quick.
Change in his attitude
If his attitude towards you changes all of a sudden for no just reason, there are possibilities that he is sleeping with someone else and it could be the maid. Do not take this for granted because delay may be dangerous.
He draws closer to her most of the time
Once you notice that he wants to be closer to your housegirl, ask yourself why? It is most likely that something is brewing. Send her packing before it is too late.

If he keeps making a case for her
Whenever the househelp does anything wrong and your man is quick to defend her, know that there is something fishy. Do not see it as nothing serious. It could mean that they are dating in the background. Let him know you are not comfortable about it and if he seems not ready to change, let the girl go before he impregnates her.
He buys her gifts
There is no excuse for a man to be buying gifts for a housemaid, even if it is her birthday. It is far from being generous, there is definitely more reasons to it. It is in your own place to do so as the madam of the house. So, do not assume that all is well when he keeps doing this. For all you care, the gifts could be a sign of pleasing her for the other ‘services’ she’s been offering him.
It is, however, important that you do not jump into a wrong conclusion on anything you suspect. Hasty actions, making insinuations on his actions and inactions, can be detrimental to your marriage.
