Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has said one of his friends has abandoned his mansion at the heart of Kaduna and fled for his life after the bandits missed abducting him twice.
The outspoken ex-lawmaker said the unnamed friend abandoned the mansion with a swimming pool to live in a two-bedroom rented apartment in the centre of the city where he shares a garage with co-tenants.
“Yesterday,My friend,a Honorable member,has packed out of his Mansion in the outskirts of Kaduna.He has rented a two bedroom apartment in the center of the city.Bandits missed him twice.He is now sharing a garage with Co-tenants.He has left his swimming pool & Rose garden behind,” Sani said.
Sani who has been poking fun at the El-Rufai-led government in Kaduna for failing to tame terrorism and bandits’ activities also stated that the closure of the government college in Abuja because of terrorists is the safest thing given the inability of the security agencies to tackle insecurity in Nigeria.
“The closure of the Federal Government College,Kwali Abuja is the safest thing to do in the face of the danger posed by terrorists and the inability of our security agencies to provide protection.Many private boarding schools in the FCT have also converted to day schools.”
