A seven-storey building has collapsed in Lagos with two people confirmed dead.
The incident occurred on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Oba Idowu Oniru street beside Avi Maria Hospital, Lagos. The dead bodies have however been recovered from the debris.

In a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu l, six people are presently trapped under the debris of the uncompleted building collapse, while efforts are ongoing to recover them.
