Sen. Ibezim felicitates with Christians at Easter, thanks constituents

Sir Frank Chukwuma Ibezim, the senator representing Imo North in the National Assembly has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of the Easter celebration and charged them to not to lose the essence of the moment.
The lawmaker noted in his Easter message that Easter represented the unconditional sacrifice and love of God and urged Christians to strive to imbibe similar virtues.
“Easter season is a very significant period in the life of every Christian. The period when we all commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ,” Ibezim said.
“The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ should always remind us of the ultimate price God paid for our sins.
“While we merry and rejoice over his resurrection, let’s also ponder over the need to stand together as a people to shun all means of violence and give peace a chance, putting into consideration the adverse effect of insecurity to the development of our zone, state and country.”
The outgoing senator, also used the occasion to appreciate his constituents for standing by him throughout his brief stay in the Red Chamber.
“On behalf of my family, I thank you my people for the love and support you’ve given me throughout my stay at the National Assembly.” he said and offered  prayers for peace, unity, development and prosperity in Okigwe Zone, Imo State and Nigeria.
The lawmaker, who came to the Senate in 2021 to complete the remaining two years left of the tenure of the late Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu, has left indelible marks on Imo North within so short a time, having attracted highly impactful projects to the zone, sponsored notable bills and supported motions as well as dispensing several humanitarian palliatives and life transforming democracy dividends.
