Sen. Dickson visits Bishop Kukah Center, preaches peace, harmony

The senator representing Bayelsa West in the National Assembly, Sen. Henry Seriake Dickson has lauded the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Fr. Mathew Hassan Kukah, for what the latter is doing in promoting peace, reconciliation and commitment to justice.

Sen. Dickson spoke when he visited the Bishop Kukah Center on Tuesday.

The senator used the occasion to commenced the clergyman for his commitment to bring harmony and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians. He also urged Nigerians to continue to support the Center in its drive to engender harmony and interfaith dialogue among the diverse nationalities in the country.

A terse statement for the former Governor of Bayelda State said that “I had a fruitful discussion with Bishop Kukah and I appreciate the great vision of the center in promoting peace, reconciliation and his lifelong commitment to peaceful co-existence, inter-faith dialogue and tolerance and addressing the plight of humanity through worthy humanitarian initiatives.
“I pledge to support the Bishop Kukah Center and also urge all well meaning individuals to do same.”
