Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on Tuesday, performed the revalidation of his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor carried out the membership registration and revalidation exercise at his ward (Ward E3) aka “Premier Ward” at St Stephen School Compound, Adeniji Adele Lagos Island.
Speaking after the exercise, the governor said the exercise was to position the party as the best globally as well as strengthen the party.
He added it also confirmed his status as the governor of the state under the platform of All Progressive Congress.
It is recalled President Muhammadu Buhari had, on January 31, 2021 in Daura, Katsina State, revalidated his membership of the party and called on leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to do same to encourage more participation and ownership of the party at the grassroots.
